It certainly has been an interesting 2020 for Yacht Sales International and all of our marine industry friends. Normally Yacht Sales International, the largest North American Greenline Dealer positions 6-10 boats a week prior to the show getting underway. Like many other manufacturers this year, brought fewer boats, only the Greenline 45 and position her on G-Dock this year nearer her peers than the usual B-Dock placement. With only 1/3 of the normal booth space we were able to control the safety and security of our guests and team members. In addition to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we hosted a Dock Walk on the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and shuttled customers from the boat show to our office for showings on the Greenline 48 Hybrid and Greenline 33 Hybrid as well as some of our brokerage listings.
oth events were a huge success! We were able to take the 48 Fly Hybrid out for sea trials and are working on selecting finishes for the customer’s brand new Greenline 45 Hybrid to arrive next year. We also received a deposit and placed an order for another customer’s brand new Greenline 39 Hybrid arriving in February of 2021!
Our newly opened office on the New River now showcases walls filled with colorful and fun creations by Marine Artist Istvan “Steve” Diossy. His work can be found on www.stevediossy.com and on Facebook.com/SteveDiossyArt. We look forward to months of gallery style events that encompass hybrid yachting and art that embodies the sea life we all love.
The Palm Beach Boat Show was given a greenlight to proceed, so if you are on the West Coast of Florida or can travel there, expect to see Greenline 45 Fly, Greenline 33 Hybrid, and a selection of our newest brokerage listings. The show begins on Thursday, November 12th and ends on the 15th. Click here to purchase tickets. We’ll see you at the show!
