2002 Legacy Express

Annapolis, Maryland

$139,900

The Legacy 34 is a Mark Ellis design. Mark worked for Raymond Hunt and understands the underwater characteristics of a power boat. The 34 Legacy hull is a large 34 footer, making her safe and comfortable in rough water. Legacy Yachts are Rhode Island boats, and thus designed for the rougher waters of the New England coast.  AnnieB is a twin engine, Jet drive boat.  Her draft is 6" less then the standard direct drive version due to the lack of propellers. Jet drive means there is no running gear under the hull.  You can run aground, ignore crab/lobster floats, and even pass over floating logs without the risk of damage.  No propellers to nick, no stuffing boxes to leak.  She will cruise at 19-20 knots and tops out around 28 knots.  If you are looking for a solid, shoal draft boat to cruise with, look no further. Disclousure
In 2003 AnnieB received minor damage to her bow, due to Hurricane Isabel, while sitting on a boat lift in the South river, MD. She was returned to the factory and restored to better-than-new condition. While there we took the opportunity to fix the gel-coat crazing.
