Description

Most 60-foot catamarans make you choose: an ocean boat, a liveaboard, or a quiet anchorage that runs on solar instead of the generator. The S60 Revolution Edition refuses to pick one — and this one is in stock now in Fort Lauderdale, built out to the full Revolution Edition specification, sea-trial ready and available for immediate delivery.

It starts with volume. A 27 ft 6 in beam and 6 ft 11 in of standing headroom everywhere — every stateroom, the salon, every passageway — give it interior space that competes with monohulls twenty feet longer. There are no ducked doorways. You feel it the moment you step below.

Then the part that sets the boat apart: the power. More than 8.5 kWp of rigid solar across the hardtop and coach roof feed a 120 kWh lithium iron phosphate bank on a 48V system, with all charging and inversion by Victron. Drop the hook in the Bahamas and run full hotel load — air conditioning, refrigeration, nav, lights, entertainment — through the night without starting the genset. Underway, twin high-output alternators keep the bank full, so you arrive at the anchorage already charged. The Kohler 32 kW generator is there for backup and heavy loads, not for daily living.

Fresh water is just as independent: dual Rainman watermakers make 280 L (74 US gal) an hour combined, and the 8,000 L (2,113 US gal) fuel tank opens up long-range passages of 3,000+ nm. The layout reads like someone actually cruised it — four en-suite staterooms, a rainshower in every head, and a dedicated dayhead off the aft deck so wet guests never track through the salon. Twin Cummins QSC8.3 diesels, 600 hp each, drive it through V-drive gearboxes; a second, climate-controlled helm inside the salon mirrors the flybridge for night watches and weather.
