The PCM Chevy 7.4L (454 cubic inches) gas engine is known for its reliability and performance. This engines produces around 350 horsepower, providing ample power for cruising and handling various sea conditions. Pleasurecraft Marine has a reputation for manufacturing durable marine engines, and this Chevy-based model is no exception. With the 7.4L engine, the Dyer 29 Flush Deck is expected to have a cruising speed in the range of 16 to 18 knots and a top speed approaching 22 knots, depending on load and sea conditions. The Hour meter (675) reflects hours after a rebuild. We are not sure what went into that rebuild. A new carburetor was installed this Spring (2026).
