2002 Grand Banks Classic

location icon Chestertown, Maryland
Year 2002
Length 42 ft
The quintessential Grand Banks quality shows in this 2002 Grand Banks 42 Classic with her high gloss varnished interior and beautiful teak and holly cabin sole. She has only had 2 owners over the last 18 years, who have spared no expense in keeping her up to date and mechanically sound. "Revere" has the preferred 2 cabin 2 head layout, with the walk-around island berth in the aft owner's stateroom, in suite head and separate shower cabin. Separated by the spacious main saloon and L shaped galley is the traditional V-Berth in the forward cabin with head and shower. A new 16k BTU AC/Heat Unit was installed in the Main Salon (2019)."Revere" is powered with a pair of optional 3126B 420hp Caterpillar diesels (125 hours annual avg.), providing plenty of power to accommodate a wider range of cruising speeds. They have been properly professionally maintained with annual oil changes/fuel and oil filters as well as impellers. Her after-coolers were replaced in 2018. A new Electronic Caterpillar ECM display was installed in 2019 providing a full digital display of all engine gauges and fuel burn rate. "Revere" has also updated her electronics package to the tune of $27K+ over the last 3 years: 2 Simrad Chart-Plotters (16" Bridge/ 12"Lower Helm), Hydraulic Auto Pilot, 48 Mile Color Radar, Forward Scanning Sonar, Depth Finder, VHF with Ram MIC on the Fly bridge, Fusion Stereo and Speakers with Sirus Weather and Stereo, 2500w Inverter and Upgraded 50amp Shore Power System. The Grand Banks 42 has probably one of the longest fiberglass productions runs if not the longest of all time with 30 years in production and 1500 boats built. "Revere" is the 53rd to last GB 42 built. "Revere" is ready to go at a moments notice and there is plenty of time to to be wintering down south on this great example of a late model GB 42 Classic. She won't disappoint.
